ScriptAI may request the following permissions to provide app functionality:

  • Camera Permission (CAMERA)
    Used to record videos while reading scripts inside the teleprompter.
  • Microphone Permission (RECORD_AUDIO)
    Used to record audio during video recording.
  • Display Over Other Apps (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW)
    Used to provide floating teleprompter overlay functionality while using compatible apps or recording workflows.
  • Foreground Service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE & FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE)
    Used to keep teleprompter-related functionality active while the app is running in supported scenarios, such as floating overlay mode.

4. Analytics & Crash Reporting

ScriptAI uses Firebase services to improve performance, reliability, and user experience.

  • Firebase Analytics may collect limited usage information such as feature interaction, app performance, device information, and general diagnostics.
  • Firebase Crashlytics helps us detect crashes, bugs, and technical issues to improve app stability.

These services may collect technical information such as device model, operating system version, app performance information, crash logs, and anonymous usage events.

We do not use these services to access or upload your scripts, videos, or personal content.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal content with third parties.

Your scripts and recordings stay on your device and are not uploaded to our systems.
