This Privacy Policy details how the Smart Screen Cast mobile application handles your data, permissions, and network communications when using our screen mirroring, media casting, remote control, and device discovery services.

2. Features & How Data is Processed
Smart Screen Cast provides users with tools to cast content and control compatible Smart TVs and streaming devices:
- Screen Mirroring: Mirrors your mobile screen in real time to supported smart TVs or display receivers via your device's standard display projection.
- Media Casting (Photos, Videos, Music, Documents/PDFs): Casts selected local media files directly to smart TVs. Media files are hosted temporarily on a secure local HTTP streaming server created on your device within your private local Wi-Fi network. Your media is never uploaded to any remote server or third party.
- Smart TV Remote & Discovery: Discovers and controls smart TVs (Google Cast, DLNA, Roku, DIAL) over your local Wi-Fi network.
- Infrared (IR) Remote: Emits infrared signals via built-in IR hardware on supported devices to control traditional televisions.
- Web Video Cast & Whiteboard: Allows streaming online video streams or presenting whiteboard drawings onto your TV display.
3. Permissions Used & Why We Request Them
Smart Screen Cast requests only the permissions strictly required to provide its core features:
- Local NetworkINTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE – Required for local device communication, Smart TV discovery, online streaming, and communicating with advertising/analytics services.
- Wi-FiACCESS_WIFI_STATE & CHANGE_WIFI_MULTICAST_STATE – Required to discover smart TVs and streaming receivers across your local Wi-Fi network via SSDP, UPnP, and mDNS protocols.

Used on Android 13+ to discover nearby Wi-Fi casting receivers with the
neverForLocationflag, guaranteeing physical location is not tracked. - Legacy LocationACCESS_FINE_LOCATION & ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION (Android ≤ 12) – Required only on older Android versions by the operating system to perform local Wi-Fi network and device scans. We do not collect, store, or track your physical GPS location.
- Media AccessREAD_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, READ_MEDIA_AUDIO & READ_MEDIA_VISUAL_USER_SELECTED – Allows you to selectively pick photos, videos, or audio tracks to cast to your TV. On Android 14+, you can grant access to only the specific files you pick.
- DocumentsStorage / Document Picker (SAF) – Used to allow you to voluntarily select PDF and presentation documents to cast on your TV.
- HardwareTRANSMIT_IR – Used solely to emit infrared commands for the IR TV remote feature on devices equipped with an IR emitter.
- FeedbackVIBRATE – Provides light tactile haptic feedback when pressing remote control buttons.
- Adscom.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID – Used by Google Mobile Ads to deliver relevant ads and prevent fraudulent traffic.
4. Local Streaming & Data Storage
All casting operations are strictly local. The application does not store, upload, or transmit your private photos, videos, audio tracks, or documents to Solution Turbo servers. Communication occurs directly between your smartphone and your connected TV over your private local Wi-Fi or Infrared connection.
5. Third-Party Services & SDKs
Smart Screen Cast integrates trusted third-party SDKs to provide crash analytics, advertising, and billing services:

Google AdMob & Meta Audience Network Mediation:
Displays banner, interstitial, native, and app-open advertisements. These services may collect pseudonymous identifiers, device information, and ad interaction telemetry for monetization and fraud detection.
Google Privacy Policy | Meta Privacy Policy - Google User Messaging Platform (UMP): Manages GDPR/CCPA user consent choices for personalized or non-personalized advertising in compliance with privacy regulations.

Firebase Crashlytics & Analytics:
Collects anonymous crash logs, technical device diagnostics, and non-identifiable usage statistics to help us resolve crashes and improve stability.
Firebase Privacy Policy - Google Play In-App Review & In-App Update: Provides native prompts for app updates and store ratings.
6. Premium Subscriptions & Billing
Smart Screen Cast offers optional Pro subscriptions to remove advertisements and unlock premium features. All transactions are securely handled directly through Google Play Billing.
Solution Turbo does not collect, process, or store your credit card, bank, or payment details. All purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refund requests are governed by Google Play's Terms of Service.
7. Children's Privacy
Smart Screen Cast does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can take appropriate measures.
8. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security practices to protect any diagnostic information we process. Your personal media files remain on your local device and are transmitted solely across your local home network to your connected display.
